100 Shawmut Update, BLDUP

Construction is underway following the groundbreaking ceremony at The Davis Companies’ 100 Shawmut, the developer’s forthcoming collection of luxury South End Boston residences. The project is the result of collaboration between a number of entities, including the Boston Chinese Evangelical Church and the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association; as the founder & CEO of The Davis Companies, Jonathan Davis, said at the groundbreaking ceremony, it “will ensure that our Chinatown-based non-profit partners will be able to serve the community for years to come, in addition to bringing new housing and jobs to our city.” When complete, 100 Shawmut will stand 13 stories tall and feature 138 new luxury homes, as well as a 980-square-foot cafe on the ground floor.
